Imperial Merchandise Co.

The Imperial Merchandise Company, Perry, Ohio, USA {Jul-1924}

First seen: 16-Jul-1924
Last seen: 31-Dec-1925

Brand(s): Imperial, Imperialtron, Eurekatron

Claiming use since 16-Jul-1924, filed 12-Nov-1925...they must have run into contention over their trademarks. It wasnt until Jan 1927 that they were granted.

These registrations allow us to trace I.M. Co. also registering the 'Eurekatron' brand. I would not otherwise be able to attribe this scarce variant.

The earlier variant of the Imperialtron tube uses the crown shaped envelope label. It's unclear if there were also variations in the boxes used for Imperialtron tubes.

Imperialtron has been found only in one advertisement by Cussins & Fearn Co., which also features Fearnola brand tubes. I would have placed them with C&F had it not been for trademark information found.
